4. DO YOU HOLD ANY CERTIFICATIONS OR LICENSES?

Yes. Modular Glass is fully licensed and insured. Our founder holds a NSW Builder’s Licence (Lic. 3151848C), ensuring all work meets strict Australian building codes and standards. We’re also experienced in working on regulated strata and remedial projects.

5. DO YOUR GLASS INSTALLATIONS MEET COUNCIL AND SAFETY REGULATIONS?

All Modular Glass installations are designed and installed in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards — including AS 1288 (glass in buildings) and AS/NZS 1170 (structural design actions). We work closely with trusted, licensed structural engineers to ensure compliance with both safety codes and local council regulations. For projects requiring certification, we coordinate with certifiers and strata representatives to ensure a fully compliant outcome.

6. HOW LONG DOES INSTALLATION TAKE?

Most residential projects are completed within 3–5 days, depending on size and site conditions. Larger or remedial projects may take longer. We provide realistic timelines with every quote.

7. WHAT IS YOUR FEE STRUCTURE?

We offer transparent, fixed-fee quotes tailored to each project’s scope. Unlike hourly rates, our fixed pricing ensures clarity from day one — no hidden costs. You’ll receive a detailed quote based on your site layout, materials, and custom requirements.

8. DO YOU PROVIDE QUOTES FOR STRATA AND REMEDIAL WORK?

Absolutely. We work closely with strata managers, remedial builders, and engineers. Send us your drawings or photos and we’ll prepare a detailed, obligation-free quote.

9. WHAT TYPE OF GLASS DO YOU USE?

We use toughened safety glass, typically 12mm or 10mm thick, depending on the project. All hardware is marine-grade stainless steel or powder-coated aluminium for durability.

10. DO YOU INSTALL ALUMINIUM RAILINGS TOO?

Yes — we supply and install custom aluminium railings for strata, balconies, and commercial use. A practical and compliant option for high-traffic or budget-sensitive areas.

11. CAN YOU HELP WITH DESIGN OR COUNCIL APPROVALS?

We offer guidance on product selection, layout planning, and compliance. While we don’t submit council approvals directly, we work with builders and certifiers to ensure all requirements are met.
